yep thats why i ... yep thats why i used words like "usually" and "most of" to show i can be open minded in my chosen lifestyle, because this is true, some american cars can do very well in drift. i am curious though, what american cars used in mainstream drifting are lighter than a "classic" AE86 and other? old Toyotas? most of them easily falling under 1000kg, even some Nissans and Mazdas can pull this off, however for them it takes some pretty descent mods
@25det Actually ... @25det Actually Mustangs and Camaros are fairly small and nimble, hence the nickname "Pony cars" for American cars in that class, weighing as much and in some cases lighter than "classic" Japanese drift cars. Even the new Challenger is of reasonable weight. And lighter doesn't always mean faster, especially if the heavier car can push harder (more torque) than the lighter car. I'm not saying one is better than the other, but I? am saying there should be a little more open mindedness on the matter
